7-Day Fiber Optics Hands-ON
ABOUT THIS COURSE
- Undoubtedly fiber optics network cabling either in the external and internal parts of the construction site has always undergone changes in specification requirements according to location and construction site environment.
- Similarly, those who install and maintain fiber optics network cabling must those who are competent with the right knowledge and skills in order to produce high reliability of optical network cabling.
- On the other hand, if those who are installing and maintaining optical fiber cabling network have virtually no fiber optics knowledge and skills, undoubtly they will produce a low reliability fiber optics network.
- Thus a low reliability fiber optics network cabling will result in a non optimum fiber optic performance which leads to higher cost in the effort to conduct troubleshooting and to find immediate solutions which requires time and manpower.
- It is the main goal of this 7-Day Hands-ON Fiber Optics Course to produce skilled , knowledgeable and competent installers that leads to high reliability fiber optics network thus giving further cost savings on problem solving and maintenance.
OUR GOALS
Based upon our participants feedback on installation & testing of fiber optics, majority of the end-users or contractors were not aware of TIA/EIA standard testing procedures plus the allowance of acceptance testing analysis data.
The test gears being used at site during testing were merely to show to clients that fiber optics indeed in good working condition by showing OTDR charts.
But most end-users or contractors have no clues what those charts were all about and unable to clarify or verify the condition of tested fiber optics
At the end of the course, the 7-Day Hands-ON Fiber Optics would be able to conduct following fiber optics testing and commissioning as per recommended TIA/EIA standards.
With the above testing data being analysed and respectively documented, the participants can be rest assured that tested fiber optic network is indeed within acceptable allowable testing values by comparing the calculated and measured testing data.
Furthermore, the proper documented testing data is a proved that the fiber optics installers have rendered their services professionally and most importantly to gain trust and confidence from end-users.

In this course you will learn how to create specifications that in tandem to data transmission and hence to ensure installation reliabilities to reduce fiber optics sytem breakdown downtime with minimum cost possible.
